Florida and its Long Term Care Partnership Program
Similar to other states, Florida is also facing the rapid growth of long term care costs today. In a study conducted by Genworth, a leading insurance company in the U.S., Florida’s long term care costs rise faster than inflation. In fact, costs of private rooms in nursing homes among the state’s four largest regions surveyed has risen tremendously and even assisted living facilities have also become very expensive.
